Happy 25th anniversary to Dress for success Miami!

In this Women Month, let’s take some time to put a spotlight on a fabulous organization!

Dress for Success Miami is a non profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

I recently visited their office in Miami and know you I have to tell you all about it!

Their Mission

This fantastic organization helps women (and men) to transition towards self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home, and community. Each woman is a success story: she has gone from unemployment to economic independence.

Meet Sonia Jacobson , founder of Suited for Success and Dress for Success

I had the opportunity to interview their founder Sonia Jacobson :

Women Empowerment guaranteed

Since 1994, Dress for Success Miami has assisted over 35,000 women re-entering the workforce.

The organization empowers women by giving them a full work attire and the knowledge and confidence they need to land the job.

Dress for Success is more than just a suit. They provide training and support to help women rock their interviews from the inside out.

Their office is very clean, well organized and their clothing and accessories are very well taken care of!

Donations are typically sorted and hung in the boutique the same day they are received, so please if you do give away some of your clothes, ensure that all items donated are in good condition, ready to wear, and suitable for wearing to job interviews!

When the Fashionista in me get Dressed for Success!

Of course, I had to challenge the ladies of DTS to Dress me for Successful Corporate interview. I am not really a corporate girl, but I felt great and powerful in the two outfit they had me try out!
